Chat with the mobile banking app

Once you've logged on to the app, there are 2 ways to start Chat with us.

Option 1

  1. Scroll to the 'Start chat' section at the bottom of the screen

  1. Tap the 'Menu' icon in the top right corner
  2. Scroll down to 'Help' > 'Chat with us' – you'll also find some helpful FAQs

Chat online

You can also Chat when you're logged on to online banking. Simply select ‘Chat’ on the right side. However you chat with us, you can start, pause and continue it as you like.

Other support for your banking

Relay UK

When you contact us by phone, Text Relay can translate speech to text and text to speech. You can call us using Relay UK and an assistant will type out what our adviser says. You can then read this on your computer, mobile, tablet or textphone, before speaking or typing your response.

You can use this service by downloading the Relay UK app. If you're using a textphone, enter 18001 before the number you want to dial.

SignVideo

The BSL Video Relay Service helps you contact us from home using British Sign Language (BSL). After you launch SignVideo, you’ll interact with a qualified BSL interpreter using your device's camera. You’ll then be connected to a telephone banking adviser, and your BSL interpreter will relay your conversation.

You can use this free service from Monday to Friday, 8.00 to 18.00.
